A few observations....
It is not uncommon to observe a reduction of history, and of the human condition, to the level of spectacle, ornament or decoration.
Sometimes, in order to maintain or preserve an appearance, it becomes necessary for certain things to be hidden.
Often things remain hidden in plain sight.
For the duration of the Autumn and Winter months, from the beginning of October until the end of March, the statues of Apollo and Hermes on the lawns to the front of the house, will be kept covered.
